Recently had cataract surgery in both my eyes. Decided to try Kitchen Blockers instead of traditional sports goggles and I LOVE THEM!! No lenses to distort my newly improved vision or to fog up. These are perfect. I had to use the provided sticky back sponge spacers under the nose rim to lift them up higher to eliminate the perifial vision blocking of top rim. That worked petfectly. Wont play without them now.

I had a detached retina in 2013 and permanently lost vision in my left eye. I use to play tennis everyday and was a pretty good net player. But with only one good I was reluctant to get up to the net and my style of play changed. I tried a variety of protective sportswear but there was always an issue. Some were bulky, uncomfortable, lenses would scratch or get fogged up. When I turned to PickleBall it became more of a problem. The ball travels much faster, is harder, and you are in closer proximity to your opponent. I’ve seen many players get hit in the face by people who can really bang the ball. Not great for a guy with one eye. Too many close calls for my liking. That’s why I’m so excited to be wearing Kitchen Blockers and will continue to spread the importance of their value. I have been wearing eye protection for a couple years now. I have about 4 pairs of glasses . After a friend was hit in the eye with a ball at high velocity, glasses make sense. But the problem was they were always fogging over or needing cleaned. Kitchen Blockers solves that. They look good and protect without any hassle. Great solution.

I started playing pickleball about 2 years ago. 2 months later a ball came off my partners paddle and hit me in the side of my left eye hard enough to pop out my contact lens and leave a bruise. After that incident I started wearing safety glasses that I had from another hobby. Those glasses worked OK, but they constantly fogged up even after applying anti-fog solution, and I had to constantly wipe sweat off them. I know that many people have never been hit with a pickleball, but just 1 month after the first incident, I was hit again by a ball coming off the tape, but this time I was wearing the safety glasses. The impact was hard enough to knock the glasses off my face, but no injury.

A couple of weeks ago, I saw a friend with a pair of Kitchen Blockers and ordered a pair that day. I've been wearing them for about a week now and no more fogging, no more wiping sweat. The only part of the frame that I see in my peripheral vision is the bottom part of the frame, but I stopped noticing that after a couple of days of use, so now I don't even notice I have them on. I actually forgot I had them on this morning after playing and wore them home.

I play 3-5 times a week and after a close call, realized eye protection is essential. Tried protection with lens and, as someone who doesn't wear glasses, I just couldn't get used to having a lens in front of my eye and the fogging up! Tried kitchen blockers and haven't looked back. Eventually I forgot I was wearing them. Recently I had an issue where the arm of the glasses broke off. Nothing dramatic happened to them, so I reached out and was so happily surprised that the customer service team answered back quickly, told me they've got me covered and sent me a new pair.
