I’ve been hit in the face 3 times, but fortunately I had eyewear each time. I used to pop the lenses out of my sunglasses, but I was always worried that a direct hit would still hit my eyeball. I have really bad eyesight with a thin cornea so a slight hit to the eyeball could be catastrophic for me. The kitchen blockers solve this problem and I love all the testing they’ve done. I’ve had several people at my local court ask me where I got them.

I have a pair of the black blockers. I have tried about 10 different pairs of clear glasses (as I play indoors a lot), and could not find a pair that didn't fog up or get greasy from sweat. Saw these while watching pro pickleball, and I had to get a pair. Just the other day I hit a drop shot up a little too high and the other person smashed it right back at my face and it hit me right in the glasses. I walked away without a scratch or bruise. People often scoff at the price, but I've been hit in the face with these on several times and never once had an issue. They stay in place amazingly, and don't fog up since there's no lens. I can't recommend these enough. I figure the price is worth it compared to one surgery or something due to not wearing eye protection.

so I know I previously reviewed the glasses or the blockers and told you how much I love them now with the clear version because the Blue was kind of bothering my peripheral vision . so I could you not I do not play without wearing them and today after the game I continued walking and talking with my friends. I got in my car and I started driving back to my house when I realized I was still wearing them that's how unobtrusive to me. The clear version of these blockers are. They are just amazing and absolutely no bother and no effect on my game and yet they give me the protection of knowing that my eyes will be safe. I can't tell you how much I love the clear version and how happy I am that they came out with it..

I can’t say enough great things about these glasses. I tried a number of pairs with lenses and couldn’t find one pair that didn’t give distortion. I was always lifting them up and comparing the view with the glasses to without. In addition, the other night I was hit straight to the eye with a very hard ball. The impact would have put my eye out but the Kitchen Blockers deflected the ball beautifully. I highly recommend!!!

I’ve been playing pickleball for almost two years and started wearing protective glasses after a few near misses when I was hit with the ball. I purchased these as I’m moving up in competition. It’s the ball off the tape/cord that scares me when it comes to my eyes. (I’ve been hit directly in the eye ball with a ping pong smash -Not fun. I sweat too hard for lenses. These are the bees knees!!

Finally a way to protect my eyes without blurry lenses. I wear contacts when I play and my clear protective glasses are too often become blurry/dirty during play. My Kitchen Blockers are the perfect solution and they LOOK COOL!!!!

A friend of mine recently was hit in the eye with a ball that ricocheted off her own paddle.
