The classic blockers are well constructed, fit well with plenty of adjustment, and work as advertised. In addition, when the USPS lost my first package, the customer service folks sent out a replacement via UPS at no charge very quickly. All around great experience. Highly recommended.

Not only have kitchen blockers save my eyes from a couple direct hits and a ricochet, I’m also far more confident and comfortable in hand battles at the kitchen line, knowing my eyes are in no danger! And I sweat like a farm animal so the “no lenses” is a huge boon as there’s no fogging up!

After a few close calls with some balls near my face, I decided it was time to get some kitchen blockers. Especially at the more advanced levels, balls are getting sped up constantly at you and id rather have an extra layer of protection for my most valuable asset on the court besides my legs. I just got hit by a ball from my friend that I nicknamed “Bullet”! She earned that name! The ball skimmed the top of the net as I was about to hit a twoey. I turned my head & the ball hit the side of my Kitchen Blockers. They stayed on & it only hurt the bridge of my nose for just a little bit, but it did not hurt my eyeball! Prior to Kitchen Blockers, I was hit with a direct shot to my eye. I was lucky once, but I do not want to tempt fate. I wear my Kitchen Blockers on the pickleball court all the time!

Like many of my fellow pickleballers, I have spent a lot of money on protective eyewear over the years. I am an advocate of wearing some type of protection as I have witnessed people get serious eye injuries from playing pickleball from balls and more.
