I just got hit by a ball from my friend that I nicknamed “Bullet”! She earned that name! The ball skimmed the top of the net as I was about to hit a twoey. I turned my head & the ball hit the side of my Kitchen Blockers. They stayed on & it only hurt the bridge of my nose for just a little bit, but it did not hurt my eyeball! Prior to Kitchen Blockers, I was hit with a direct shot to my eye. I was lucky once, but I do not want to tempt fate. I wear my Kitchen Blockers on the pickleball court all the time!

Like many of my fellow pickleballers, I have spent a lot of money on protective eyewear over the years. I am an advocate of wearing some type of protection as I have witnessed people get serious eye injuries from playing pickleball from balls and more. In my case, I actually hit myself in the eye with my own paddle - ok, no need to say it. However, most of my protective glasses, as well as others I have seen on people, either get scratched or fog up too easily. Love love love Kitchen Blockers! I've tried so many different eye protection brands for pickleball and they all fog up after a few minutes.
